Thank you for your interest in applying to be a coach for Ascend Speech and Debate! In Summer 2026, we will be operating three distinct educational experiences: Ascend California, Ascend Florida, and Ascend Online.
Coaches at Ascend California will be coaching at our in-person camp at the University of the Pacific from July 12 to July 26, 2026. We are currently hiring for the below events and positions at Ascend California:
Congressional Debate: Junior Instructors
Public Forum: Curriculum Director and Junior Instructors
Coaches at Ascend Florida will be coaching at our in-person camp in South Florida from June 26 to July 11, 2026. We are currently hiring for the below events and positions at Ascend California:
Admin: Co-Camp Director; Director of Health
Congressional Debate: Junior Instructors
Coaches at Ascend Online, which will only offer Congressional Debate this summer, will be coaching virtually during dates to be announced. We are currently hiring for the below events and positions at Ascend Online:
