Community and Inclusion

For far too long, certain groups and demographics have been undervalued by the education system. At Ascend, we believe that as educators, we must be fundamentally committed to lifting up students of all backgrounds. This is part of the reason why we made Ascend Academy Group Coaching free and offer a variety of other free resources to the debate community at large.

Holistic Learning

We don’t only focus on winning rounds at Ascend, but more importantly we help students find and craft their individual voices. In the Age of AI, we strongly believe there is no more valuable skill than communication. We teach students how to effectively communicate ideas to people of different backgrounds so they are prepared no matter what environment they enter.

Give Back

We are committed to giving back to the community that has given us so much as a company and as individuals. We believe that empowering and enabling more people to foster public speaking and argumentation skills makes for a better world. We remain committed to pursuing and developing new ideas and programs that benefit both the community and society.

We talk the talk when it comes to our value of giving back. Since 2020, we’ve given over $100,000 in financial aid to students across the country to help students access our premier coaching programs.
