In case you can’t make it to Ascend California, Ascend Online is a more accessible program designed to replicate the in-person experience, just in an online setting! We have done our best to take our in-person curriculum and make sure that you have the opportunity to learn it online. You will find that Ascend Online is superior to other options on the digital market and we have tried to provide as much of the in-person experience as we can in a digital setting.
Within Ascend Online, you’ll be placed into labs that reflect your skill level where you receive different skill-based lectures and participate in drills. Outside of lab instruction, there will be mock rounds for you to show off your skills, topic lectures and guest lectures from the best coaches in the country, and office hours where you can get all of your questions answered!

What Events Can I Do?
During Summer 2024, Ascend Online only offers Congressional Debate but we may expand our offerings in future summers. If you’re interested in participating in Congressional Debate in-person or another event this summer, we encourage you to attend Ascend California.
Does Ascend Offer Refunds?
Due to costs that we incur prior to the summer beginning in preparation for your camp experience, we are unable to offer refunds at this time. We’re confident that you will have a first-class experience with us this summer.
How Can I Pay?
Our preferred payment method is online through a credit or debit card. However, if you’d like to avoid the transaction fee, we will also accept Zelle (preferred) and personal checks. Please email info@ascendspeech.org for further details.
What if I Already Did Ascend?
Students can participate in Ascend Online as many years as they would like. Our curriculum is updated frequently and sessions are personalized to your current skill level, so you will have a new experience each time!

Does Ascend Offer Financial Aid?
Yes! We believe financial need should never be a barrier to education. Please contact info@ascendspeech.org for further information on financial aid eligibility. We also offer payment plans over a multi-month period.
What Grades Can Do Ascend?
Students entering 7th through 12th grade can participate in Ascend, including Ascend Online. Our coaches are able to tailor the learning experience for students of different ages who are each at different stages of their educational experiences.
