Ascend California - Executive Operations Coordinator

A freshman at UC Berkeley and a graduate of James Logan High School, Danny has extreme loyalty to Ascend, attending Ascend four times! He is a firm believer in its message of fostering an environment for each person to be their authentic selves. After being a multi-year competitor in Congressional Debate, Danny qualified to the National Speech and Debate Tournament, the California State Tournament, and the Tournament of Champions, and believes congressional debate is THE BEST experience for young adults to gain critical life skills for their future. Danny brings the same precision and dedication to keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes to make sure that while everyone else is focused on the mission, the nuts and bolts are already taken care of.

Outside of Ascend, Danny is often spotted deep in library shelves reading on behavioral economics and game theory, ordering half the menu at a Mexican restaurant, working on political campaigns, or exploring the “friendly” neighborhoods of San Francisco.
