Rohit Jhawar is a former congressional debater with years of coaching experience. In his time as a debater, he was both a national and TOC champion with multiple invite wins. Now as a coach, he’s helped students to top 6 finishes at NSDA, TOC, and numerous national invitationals. Moreover, his biggest accomplishment is the long lasting relationship he is able to maintain with his students and the mentorship he can continue to provide even long after debate camp concludes. His priorities as a coach are developing strong research skills and sound understanding of argumentation, with a particular emphasis on preparing students to consistently and efficiently perform at a high level across many rounds and topics.He’s excited for Ascend 2023, and hopes to see you there!
