Anna Canaday is the designated nurse for Ascend Speech and Debate who has worked as a nurse since 2011. Over the course of the last decade, she has been employed by the Elk Grove School District. She has experience in many nursing roles, including working as a school nurse, special education, home health and sports medicine. Anna values her role as a school nurse and collaborating with families to ensure the well-being of students and promoting their readiness for academic engagement. The nature of her occupation aligns with her genuine ardor: enhancing and advocating for the well-being and self-sufficiency of young individuals. She is excited and beyond grateful to be partnering with Ascend to fulfill her three passions: children, education, and nursing.
