Program Name: Ascend Camp Notifications

Program Description: Ascend Speech and Debate Communications ("Ascend," "we," "us," or "our") offers an SMS notification service for parents and guardians of campers enrolled in Ascend Camp programs. By opting in, you will receive text messages (SMS/MMS) related to your camper's participation, including but not limited to:

  • Daily activity updates and camp announcements

  • Check-in and check-out confirmations

  • Health and safety notifications

  • Schedule changes and important reminders

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on camp activity and operational needs. During active camp sessions, you may receive multiple messages per week. Outside of camp sessions, message frequency will be minimal to none.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Ascend is not responsible for any charges incurred from your wireless carrier for receiving text messages. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan. Ascend does not charge a separate fee for SMS notifications; however, any message or data charges applied by your carrier are your sole responsibility. No refunds will be issued for any carrier-related charges, camp enrollment fees, or any other costs associated with participation in this program.

Opt-In: By providing your phone number during camp enrollment and agreeing to these terms, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages from Ascend Camp Notifications. Consent is not a condition of enrollment or purchase.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from this program. Please note that opting out may prevent you from receiving time-sensitive notifications about your camper's health, safety, and daily activities.

Supported Carriers: Ascend Camp Notifications are available on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Carrier support may vary and Ascend is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.

Privacy: Your phone number and personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at ascendspeech.org. We will not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Liability: Ascend is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery caused by your wireless carrier, device incompatibility, or circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted at this page and your continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
