Jack attends the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In his time competing in Congressional Debate he won the Florida Blue Key Round Robin, was the runner up at the actual Blue Key Tournament, became the Texas UIL State Champion, was a finalist at NSDA, placed in the top 6 at the TFA State tournament two years back to back, reached the final round at UT Austin twice, and the UC Berkeley Invitational. He was also the state runner up in Domestic Extemp at the TFA State tournament and nationally qualified in both World Schools Debate and Duo Interpretation.
Jack has spent multiple years as both an Ascend student and coach, allowing him to thoroughly understand a curriculum that crafts champions. Because of the meaningful connections Jack made with his Ascend coaches during his time as a student, he is eager to form the same relationships with the students he will instruct. He is passionate about authenticity and simple explanation, as well as a sucker for clever rhetoric writing.
