How a Workshop Works

Three Steps, Usually Inside Two Weeks

1. A 30-minute call. You tell Quest about your team: events, experience level, what's working and what isn't, what's on the calendar. That's it.

2. We bring a plan. Within a few days you get a proposed workshop — topic, format, length, and which coach — sized to your team. You edit it, not the other way round.

3. We show up. In your practice room or on your team's screens. Afterwards, your students have the free coaching channels and the curriculum to keep going, and you have our number.

What Coaches Ask Us

Yes. A workshop for a school team costs nothing, in person or online. We do it because teams that meet our coaches tend to send students to camp and to coaching later, and because we came up through school teams ourselves. There is no catch and no pitch to your students.
Congressional Debate is our specialty and where our staff is deepest. Ascend Academy's free group coaching also runs Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, and Extemporaneous Speaking. Tell us your team's events on the call and we'll be straight about where we can help most.
Yes. We run a year-round online middle school debate team and novice tracks at both camps. Middle school workshops are some of our favorites.
No. Everything we do for a school team is built to supplement the coach, not replace them. You set the direction; we add reps, expertise, and summer training your students bring back to you.
Bring a group from one program to the same camp session and we price it as a group. The details depend on the number of students and the session, so this is a call rather than a form — book one and we'll put numbers on it.
