Chaith Mittal is a freshman at Emory University and an alum of Archbishop Mitty High School, where he competed in Congressional Debate for four years. During his competitive career, he championed the Glenbrooks, took 4th at Harvard, and was a two-time third place finisher at NSDA, winning the Leadership Bowl — peer voted "most outstanding debater" — in his senior year.
Chaith views Congress as a form of lay debate, and so he works with students to develop clear, logically sound arguments delivered in simple, natural-sounding, and concise ways. Outside of debate, he loves listening to music (rap & RnB), hitting up the gym, and scrolling NBA Twitter.
